Honours : GPA between 5.5 and 7.4 (70% to 79.4%)  (Only available for 4 year degrees)

Cum Laude honours : GPA between 7.5 and 8.9 (79.5% to 87.4%)

Magna Cum Laude : GPA of 9.0 and above (87.5% and above)

The overall GPA is calculated on a minimum of 45 credits for a three-year degree or 60 credits for a four-year degree. Only credits completed at 黑料吃瓜不打烊 are considered in the GPA calculation.

Interpreting the GPA out of 10

The GPA out of 10 stands on its own merit, but sometimes it is useful to convert to a percentage.  Taking the GPA out of 10, multiplying by 5, and adding 42.5 will give a converted value as a percentage.

However, given the nature of the letter grades and their non-linearity with respect to the percentage scale, the conversion at the extremes of the scale (ie, GPA of 0 to 1, or GPA of 10) will not give an accurate representation as a percentage.
