Admissions

Ontario High School Admissions

Ontario High School students will be required to use the Group A application. There used to be a PIN system required for student application, but this has been removed in September 2023.

 

Students will navigate to the link and use their PIN to create a new account. Once completed, they can follow the to complete their application.

Out of province High School Admissions

Out of province students will be required to use the . Applicants require the successful completion of a secondary school diploma with the equivalent course requirements as Ontario applicants, with a minimum 70% average. 

 

Group B students will need to create a new account to start their application. The will take you to the page where you can do so.

Scholarships and Bursaries

For admissions and award purposes, 黑料吃瓜不打烊 calculates admission averages based on the top six final marks from an Ontario student's 4U/M courses, regardless of prerequisites for the intended program of study.

 

High-School Average

Academic Excellence Scholarships

80% - 84.9%

7.50 to 8.49       

up to $4,000 ($1,000 in 1st year, renewable in subsequent years provided average is maintained)

85% - 89.9%

8.50 to 9.49

up to $6,000 ($1,500 in 1st year, renewable in subsequent years provided average is maintained)

90% - 94.9%

9.50 to 9.89

up to $12,000 ($3,000 in 1st year, renewable in subsequent years provided average is maintained)

95% - 100%

9.90 to 10.00

up to $16,000 ($4,000 in 1st year, renewable in subsequent years provided average is maintained)

 

Eligibility for renewal will be based on full-time status in the previous academic year (30 credits, of which 24 credits must have been taken in the Fall/Winter term, the remaining 6 must be taken in the spring term).

NOTE: Scholarships are paid on a May to April cycle. Amounts will be prorated based on the number of credits per semester.

To find information concerning applicant bursaries, you can do so on  in your student's portal. All bursaries are application based but it can all be done through a smart form that can be completed once for all bursaries. Please ensure your application is complete (incomplete applications will not be reviewed) and that any supporting documents such as letters of recommendation, etc. are sent to the Student Awards Office at financialaid@laurentian.ca by the March 26 deadline.  Please enter the award name in your subject line when submitting additional documents.
