Through exploring a variety of scientific and community resources, as well as practical exercises, this course: enhances curiosity and confidence about growing microgreens, improves access to nutrient dense foods, promotes a greater understanding of biological principles and shares knowledge about fundamental concepts of functional nutrition.
By the end of this course, participants should be able to:

Explain the nutritional benefits of microgreens

Better understand growth enhancing and growth inhibiting factors for seed germination and early growth

Better understand an array of choices for materials and other considerations for growing microgreens at home

Successfully grow trays of easy-to-grow microgreens
