Program Description:
The "Urban Aging and Inclusive Design" program is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to create inclusive and supportive environments for everyone, but specifically for aging populations.
This program caters to urban planners, community developers, healthcare professionals, policy makers, architects, engineers, and individuals from diverse fields who are committed to shaping communities that enhance the well-being of people of all ages. Participants will gain knowledge on topics such as universal design principles, community engagement strategies, healthcare integration, and policy advocacy specific to age-friendly initiatives.
Through a blend of theoretical knowledge, practical case studies, and hands-on projects, learners will gain the expertise needed to address the unique opportunities and challenges posed by an aging demographic.
