Money and Financial Markets
The course develops a unifying analytical framework for the way financial markets (such as money, bond, stock, and foreign exchange markets) work. The framework provides students with the tools to understand trends in the marketplace. The course also focuses on the operating framework for the implementation of monetary policy in Canada, risk management with financial derivatives, and the internationalization of financial markets.
