Fascism: Sights, Sounds, Spaces and Interpretations

This course addresses the political history of right-wing totalitarianism in Europe in the period between the two World Wars, and delves deeply into fascism's attempt to radicalize mass culture, both built and expressive, in order to create the cultural configurations of a sacred politics and civic religion. PREREQ: 18 university credits. (Lec 3) cr 3.
