Colonizing/Decolonizing Issues of Violence in Indigenous Communities

This course addresses the historical, social, economic, and political context of violence in the lives of indigenous peoples. It explores the colonizing/decolonizing framework, the dynamics associated with violence and the barriers that impede helping strategies. PREREQ: Students must have at least 60 university credits. Student may not retain credit for both NSWK 4406 and ISWK 4406.
