Building on Basics: the Grant Cycle
Providing funding through grants is one of the primary ways that government and private sector foundations achieve their strategic priorities - working with academic researchers and community organizations to support their work and drive results. With so many different organizations and individuals competing for funding, it's important to write strong, impactful funding proposals that clearly communicate why your project is the most impactful, and the most likely to achieve the funder's desired result. This course will build on the basics of Fundamentals of Writing Grant Applications to show how comprehensive writing and budgeting, clear alignment with priorities, and strong communication and reporting with funders can be used to make your proposal the most successful one.
