Philosophy of Palliative and End of Life Care
This course focuses on the philosophy of nursing as it relates to the practice of hospice palliative care. Attitudes about the quality of life, end of life, and grief are explored including cultural and spiritual considerations for all client population demographics from children to older adults. Opportunities are provided for learners to integrate new and concurrent learning in regards to the philosophy of hospice palliative care. PREREQ: NURS 2144 (lec) cr 1.
