Social Work With Children and Youth

Examines social work practice with children and youth, with particular emphasis on child and youth protection. The course considers related legislation and policies as well as a variety of intervention strategies used in primary, secondary and tertiary prevention. Structural issues related to child poverty, discrimination and family violence are also examined.
