Hello, Aanii, Bonjour,
With the mounting reports of violence, injuries and death during ongoing protests in Nigeria, I want to express our deep concern and wish to remind our community of available resources and supports.
黑料吃瓜不打烊 is home to a highly engaged community of over seventy Nigerian students, and many more students, staff and faculty who have family in Nigeria. We extend our deepest concern and support to these students and all Nigerians who are leading their communities towards change.
Those in our community who have been affected by these events can reach out directly to me at president@laurentian.ca. We also encourage the community to connect with local Nigerian and multicultural associations which aim to grow, strengthen and support our community.
Additionally, we encourage you to access the resources and supports that are available to all members of our community:
- Counselling services on campus are available to all students by contacting 1-800-461-4030 ext: 6506 ext., 6506 or emailing Counselling@laurentian.ca. All resources are available at /counselling.
